Pasco Sheriff’s Office Explorer Club 915 provides the youngest members of our community the opportunity develop a positive relationship with law enforcement officers, through meaningful interactions and mentorship. Club 915 is open to those aged 10 to 13 years old.

We provide a well-rounded program that covers the major areas of law enforcement. In so doing, we build character, determination and life skills that will last a lifetime. This comes in the form of presentations, activities and interactions, such as:

  • Legal system
  • Handcuffing procedures
  • Communication skills including public speaking and adaptability in diverse settings
  • Field operation procedures, such as traffic stops, basic criminal investigations and radio etiquette
  • Teamwork
  • Field trips and demonstrations of PSO units

The Junior Explorer Club also assists PSO by performing certain duties to assist deputies, supervised by PSO members. Explorers pride themselves on being courteous, dependable and professional.
