PSO’s Explorer Post 916 is proud to offer an innovative new program introducing those ages 14-21 to the exciting world of unmanned aerial systems (or drones). This field is integral to law enforcement operations and this program offers a science-based look at roles outside of what is traditionally thought of as a responsibility of a law enforcement officer.

The program includes instruction from guest speakers from PSO’s UAS/Drone units, as well as PSO’s F1RST (Florida’s Forensic Institute for Research, Security and Tactics) and others.

The Drones program meets on the third Wednesday of each month. Visitors are encouraged at all meetings! Meetings are held at the hanger located at 10371 Charles Bo Harrison Way, Land O’ Lakes, FL 34637 from 6-8 p.m.
